15-year-old man arrested after shooting 9 children at Georgia gas station


Two people, including a teenager, were arrested and charged. Nine children shot dead at gas station in Georgia last week.

Columbus police were called to a Shell gas station shortly after 10pm on February 17 and found nine boys suffering from gunshot wounds.

All nine victims, including a 5-year-old boy, were taken to local hospitals, but their injuries were not life-threatening.

Officers have now arrested 35-year-old D’Angelo Robinson Sr. and a 15-year-old boy for the shooting. Because the teenage suspect is a minor, his identity has not been released.

Robinson faces eight counts of aggravated assault and the teenage boy faces one count of aggravated assault.

Investigators also said the 15-year-old was a known gang member.

Officials say more charges are expected.
