3 dead at Florida graduation party, 5 fired


According to Miami-Dade Police, three people were killed and five were shot dead during a graduation party in Kendall, Florida.

Freddie Ramirez, director of the Miami-Dade Police Department, said two cars, a dark-colored Chevrolet Malibu and a white Toyota Camry, broke into the parking lot when the graduation party was over at a local strip mall. He said he started firing.

The shooting killed three people, two in a car crashing into the Miami-Dade County College Kendall campus, and one woman who was a Florida prison officer, Ramirez said.

According to Ramirez, the five shots are in stable condition. The victim was taken to a local hospital on his own.

The dead and living victims were not immediately identified.
