Jenn and Kyle Bethune, members of the Vlog family known as “Red White & Bethune” on YouTube, Posted video At the beginning of Sunday, I showed a white van during my trip.
They say it was filmed on August 27 near Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming.
The van is very similar to the remodeled 2012 Ford Transit Van Petite and her boyfriend Brian Laundry traveling before they went missing.

Spread Creek Campground This is where Petite’s body was found on Sunday.
Petito was reported missing on September 11 because he did not return from a cross-country road trip with his boyfriend Brian Laundrie.
Bethune noticed the Florida plate in their footage and said he wanted to say hello to the van crew. However, as they passed by, they thought the van was vacant and continued to drive.
“The vans seemed almost abandoned. Perhaps they were out on a hike. They were just chilling inside and the doors weren’t open,” Kyle Bethoon said in a narration.
However, when zoomed in, the rear door of the van appears to be closed as the Bethune vehicle approaches. At 1 minute and 34 seconds, it’s not easy to find that moment in your footage.
The van in Bethune’s footage wasn’t identified as Petit’s, and as of Sunday, she said the FBI hadn’t responded to the hints Gembethune had given regarding the video.
A photo of Petito’s van released by the FBI on September 16 shows some stickers on the back. The van close-up in the Bethoon footage shows a sticker that looks like a match, albeit in low resolution.
However, some stickers (especially the characteristic black triangle sticker) will not appear in the Bethune footage.
Authorities continue to search for Laundrie, who was reported missing as of September 14, a few days after refusing to talk to police as part of Petito’s search.
