A TikTok video showing two pole dancers in pink and blue went viral this week.
Kristina Skalevski, who found out during the party that her baby boy was born, told insiders it was a magical moment.
Founded by Skalevski extreme addicta pole dance studio in Chisinau, Moldova.
The mother-to-be started pole dancing about seven years ago while living in Greece.In 2017, 23-year-old Skalevski decided to move back to Moldova and open her own school.
“I started with three people,” Scarlevschi told Insider. “Now he has two schools in town, where he will develop the sport.”
Scarlevschi said everyone knew her as a pole dancing teacher and expected her to do something unique at the gender reveal party.
“I don’t want to be like everyone else and just pop the balloon,” she added.
So when it came time to plan a gender reveal party, Scarlevschi told her students she wanted to do something different. They came up with the idea to do a choreographed pole dance his routine that Scarlevschi loved so much.
On the day of the gender reveal party, Skalevski said students tried to play a prank on her. After her dance, her doctor still didn’t know the gender of her baby, so he told her there were pink and blue confetti inside her balloon.
But when Scarlevschi popped it, all it got was blue confetti. She surprised both her and her husband Vladimir Sanduleac.
Scarlevschi said everyone at the party, including her husband, loved the pole dancing gender reveal routine.
“My family and friends, everyone was clapping and watching with pride,” she added.
The video went viral this week after one of Scarlevschi’s dancers, Maria Popa, shared a clip of her. tick tock Sunday page. As of Thursday, it has amassed over 6.8 million views.
Some TikTok users began filming their shocked reactions to the video, while others incorrectly called Scarlevshi’s dancers strippers.
Scarlevschi said he didn’t expect the video to go viral, and is even more shocked that “people in America are shocked and confused.”
But Scarlevschi doesn’t pay attention to those who think pole dancing is inappropriate for a gender reveal party.
“You don’t have to tell anyone what to say or what to think. Everyone has their own opinion and I’ll take it,” she said.
“There is nothing wrong or ugly about this,” she added.
