Two daughters were injured after their fathers started shooting at each other during a road rage chase in Florida. Fox5 report.
The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office told Fox5 that two people, William Hale, 35, and Frank Allison, 43, were charged with attempted murder in an incident that occurred Oct. 8.
Hale’s 5-year-old daughter was shot in the leg by Allison’s gun, and Allison’s 14-year-old daughter suffered a collapsed lung when she was hit in the back, the sheriff’s office told Fox5.
“Two children could have died because of two stupid grown men,” Nassau County Sheriff Bill Leeper said at a press conference last week. cut report.
Fox5 reported that police began receiving calls about the shooting around 6 p.m. Saturday. Witnesses told officers they saw a black Dodge Ram and a gray Nissan Murano driving erratically in a “cat-and-cat game.”
Reaper said Hale was in the pickup truck while Allison was driving the sedan. The two ran ahead and hit the brakes. After someone in Hale’s truck yelled at the sedan to stop, someone in the car “knocked” the truck, he reported Fox5. Reaper said Allison fired at the sedan and slowed down after someone in the truck threw a water bottle at it in response, according to Fox5.
Fox5 reported that when Hale realized his daughter had been shot, he pulled out a gun and fired several shots into Allison’s sedan, attacking her.
The chase ended when the two drivers saw the police car and stopped, according to the outlet.
“What’s scarier than one crazy driver with a gun? Two crazy drivers with guns,” Reaper said. “Thankfully no one was killed in the incident, but it could easily have happened because the two acted foolishly and let their tempers get the best of them.”
