U.S. prosecutors say they have offered a judicial deal to a woman in the Montreal region who was accused of mailing poison to former President Donald Trump.
The contract includes three accusations faced by Pascal Ferrier in connection with a letter containing Lysine mailed to the White House in 2020, and 16 federal accusations she faces in Texas. ..
Federal prosecutor Michael Freedman said in a short court appearance today that Ferrier needs to decide whether to accept the offer by the end of June, but details have not been disclosed.
Friedman said the deal was complex and the allegations faced by Ferrier were serious, adding that eight of Texas’s allegations could result in life imprisonment.
The farrier turned out to be suitable for the trial in March.
She will return to court on June 30th.
