Witnesses reported seeing Metowary set up multiple fires in the house, according to the fire department. Eventually, the 47-year-old left the scene. When law enforcement arrived at the scene, the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office observed her in the area.
She was then detained and transferred to the Maryland Police Department’s North East Barracks. The Soshu Fire Department conducted an investigation into the cause and cause and discovered that a fire broke out intentionally.
