A missing 24-year-old primary school teacher from Georgia was found dead in Mexico, the report said.

According to 11AliveOfficials announced on Tuesday that Alexandra Morales was found dead in Mexico. She was last seen in Zapopan, Mexico on October 30, but the circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear.

“My heart sank,” school parent Maria Palacios told the outlet. “She was very natural and the kids loved her. They had a lot of fun.”

Palacios said it was difficult to explain to her six-year-old that her teacher had died.

“My daughter was already crying before I spoke,” she said. “I had to answer that Morales didn’t come back, explaining what it meant to not come back.”
