A motorcyclist with a hidden carry permit stops a knife-wielding driver in a road rage case


A man in Flagler County was arrested after threatening a motorcyclist with a knife in a road wrath near the Palm Coast on Tuesday.

The agent said he responded to the intersection of Pine Lakes Parkway and Willaway Drive shortly after 1:00 pm after calling 911 several times for the reported Road Rage incident.

According to the sheriff’s office, 50-year-old Rafael Vincent Rivera and the motorcyclist were involved in a dispute after Rivera cut off the motorcyclist.

Witnesses told the agent that Rivera had left the truck with a knife in her hand and threatened the motorcyclist.

Investigators said it was when a motorcyclist with a hidden weapon permit pulled out his firearm and ordered Rivera to retreat.

The incident was recorded by the passenger, who showed it to his agent.

After watching the video, the agent arrested Rivera on suspicion of exacerbated assault with a deadly weapon and booked him in a prison in Flagler County.
