A Palm Coast man was shot in a house invasion after Daytona’s “strippers” were taken home, the report said.

An agent was called to Regent Lane’s house around 9:39 pm on Wednesday, according to a heavily edited report.

According to the report, an agent arrived home to find a man lying at the entrance to the bedroom door. The man reportedly had a gunshot wound on his side and another gunshot wound on one leg. Both bullets appeared to have passed through his body, the report said.

The name of the injured man has been edited, and the report states that another person with the edited name “advised him to take the stripper home from Daytona Beach.”

Then there is more edited information.

The lieutenant saw a bullet hole in the wall next to the bedroom, a common area at the top of the stairs and a ceiling above multiple shell casings, the report said. The lieutenant also said he saw a cartridge case just outside the front door, the report said.

The lieutenant also saw firearms in each bedroom, the report said.

The injured man was taken to the Halifax Health Medical Center, the report said.

According to a press release, the sheriff’s office said the incident appeared to be targeted and did not pose a threat to the community.
