A teenager was seriously injured in a shooting in Kansas City on Saturday afternoon, police say


A child was seriously injured in a shooting in Kansas City on Saturday afternoon, police said.

A police officer was summoned while shooting at 2400 blocks on Spruce Avenue shortly after 4:15 pm, Captain Leslie Forman, a spokeswoman. Kansas City PoliceI said by email.

When police arrived, Foreman said he had found “a large number of people” who looked like gunshot wounds and were helping victims lying on the streets.

According to Foreman, the victims of the “young teenage boy” were seriously injured and taken to the hospital.

No further information was immediately available.
