A Texas man accused of killing three women on a resort island


Yordi Barthelemy has been detained without detention and has been charged with murder and assault of domestic violence.

A Texas man was charged with murder for the deaths of three women in a South Padre Island condo.

A deadly shooting shook a small island community last weekend when three women from the same family were killed at a resort community home.

Police officers on South Padre Island responded to a “family turmoil” on Saturday night and found a woman identified as follows: Odalys Hernandez, 46; Zurema Hernandez-Napoles, 47; and Sandra Napoles, 65 — Everything died of a gunshot wound. The woman was reportedly from Houston.

Authorities said KSAT, The press from San Antonio, Barceremi comes from Kerens. Kerens is an hour’s drive southeast of Dallas and more than 500 miles north of the resort town. The motive for the murder has not been revealed.

“Police said the suspect had escaped from the shooting scene, but later crouched and was arrested in a nearby community in Port Isabel, five miles from South Padre Island,” KSAT reported.

This is Barthelemy. 23 years old.

South Padre Island is located off the south coast of Texas, near the Mexican border. Known for its beaches, warm bay waters for fishing and boating, and shopping.

This means that anyone over the age of 21 can carry a gun without a license or training in weapons. However, it does not include those convicted of felony, domestic violence, or those who have been ordered to protect.

In addition, schools, polling stations, courts, safe airport locations, hospitals and other locations may be exempt from law.

“I advise anyone who wants to exercise their carrying rights to get a carrying license or hold it if they already have one,” she said. “Don’t rush to get a new gun. Train, educate, and protect yourself. Also, keep in mind that the law will not come into force until September 1.”

Police have not disclosed details of the shooting on South Padre Island, including whether Barceremi was legally armed.
