Judge Thomas of the U.S. Supreme Court in hospital for an infectious disease
Judge Clarence Thomas of the US Supreme Court was admitted to a hospital in Washington on Friday after experiencing flu-like symptoms and was diagnosed with an infectious disease, the High Court said on Sunday. The court said in a statement that 73-year-old Thomas had been given intravenous antibiotics, his symptoms had eased, and he expected to be released from Sibley Memorial Hospital in a day or two. The Supreme Court, scheduled for Monday, said Thomas would participate in the review of the case through briefs, transcripts, and voice of oral arguments.
