According to police, a suspected robber died at his home in Dallas after a resident fired several bullets.


A suspected robber was shot dead in a Dallas home early Wednesday. Attempted to rob the resident, The Dallas Police Department said.

According to police, the suspect’s robbery was killed in multiple gunshot wounds.

The murder agent interviewed the resident who shot the man, but he was later released. Police said the case would be referred to a Dallas grand jury.

The shooting was reported on Wednesday at around 12:10 am on Diceman Avenue at 1200 blocks.

Residents told the Dallas Police Department that a suspected robber approached his house and attempted to enter and rob him. Residents told police that they had fired several times at the suspect’s robbers for fear of their own lives.

When they responded to the call for shooting, police found the body of a man lying in the house.

According to police, the suspected robber did not have an ID card. Staff at the Dallas County Medical Inspector’s Office are working to actively identify him.

No one was injured in the shooting.
