Winterhaven police are looking for a man they said they attacked a 73-year-old man on Saturday.
Police said the attack took place around 2:20 pm when the old man was walking from the Publix grocery store at SE Plaza along Cypress Gardens Boulevard.

According to police, the man yelled at the driver in a pewter-colored Ford F250 and was very close to the victim at the pedestrian crossing.
The truck driver yelled at the man before speeding up, but soon confronted the victim outside the truck at Cypress Gardens Boulevard.
Police said the driver left the truck and hit the old man. And he said he was going to call the police.

The driver then walked back and beat the old man, and struck his phone on the ground because he couldn’t ask for help, officials said.
Police said the driver had escaped from the scene.
