Aerial footage shows the aftermath of a tornado in Mayfield, Kentucky
The tornado placed waste on December 10 in the town of Mayfield, Kentucky, causing death and widespread destruction. At a press conference early on December 11, Mr. Bescher said the devastating storm was “the most serious tornado event in Kentucky’s history.” According to the governor, more than 56,000 people were weakened in Kentucky, he added. A state of emergency was declared before midnight and the National Guard was deployed.
