Toledo, Spain — US online retail giant Amazon will more than double its salary in Spain by 2025, increasing from 12,000 last year to 25,000, as Amazon’s vice president and general manager of Spain and Italy. One Mariangela Marcelia said Thursday.
She added that Amazon will increase the number of logistics centers in the country from the current 31 to 40 by the end of this year.
The retail and logistics giant also said it would train 50,000 small businesses and entrepreneurs to sell their products online by the end of 2025.
