An old man died in a hit-and-run outside the Miami Gun Show on Saturday afternoon.
Miami-Dade police say a 2015-17 Mercedes-Benz C-Class driver attacked a 72-year-old unidentified man trying to cross Southwest 24th Avenue.
Police say the Mercedes driver didn’t stop and continued to drive on 24th Avenue. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue has declared a man dead on the scene.
Police are looking for Mercedes. Mercedes should have severe damage to the front end and no mirror cover on the passenger side.
Derek Mann, who spoke with Local 10 News, Crash occurs before he.
“The man ran in front of us to cross the street from the bus stop. We took a break,” Mann told Local10 News. “The other man probably hit him at 50-60 mph, swung around and just took off.”
