Anniversary of justice paying tolls to everyone

Commentary

Every year on July 20th, there is a reminder that persecution continues around the world. On that day in 1999, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) attempted to eliminate Falun Gong in China and everyone who practiced it.

Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, is an ancient Chinese spiritual practice consisting of simple, slow-moving meditation practices and teachings based on the principles of truth, compassion, and tolerance.

The party’s state media blew up the public with an anti-Falun Gong promotion, and its feared security agencies brought together practitioners across China and detained them for “transformation through re-education.”

At that time, there was a lot of interest around the world in trying to understand what was happening in China.

In September 1999, Chinese Communist Party Secretary Jiang Zemin visited Australia, followed by New Zealand’s participation in the APEC Forum to promote the party’s condemnation of Falun Gong.

By 2001, when China joined the World Trade Organization (WTO), most Western countries sought a “carrot” of profits from trade with China.

The “stick” from the CCP was silence for its human rights atrocity.

Twenty-three years later, the relationship between China and Western democracy is different, but it is still the same.

The Ukrainian aggression has had a clear reaction to the actions of the authoritarian regime.Still, the 23 years of persecution of Falun Gong Recognized as a crime against humanity According to the Chinese court, we still receive a modest response.

How did the persecution of Falun Gong begin?

Some Chinese commentators say the CCP was shocked by April 25, 1999. The charm of more than 10,000 Chinese For the right to practice Falun Gong meditation and teaching on the streets around Zhongnanhai. No, it’s not.

At that time, Prime Minister Zhu Rongji met with practitioners and helped resolve their concerns. Jiang Zemin, the leader of the party, who had been opposed to Falun Gong for several years, persuaded the party to support his campaign, using the Zhongnanhai proceedings as an excuse.

Others Parrot CCP Promotions Falun Gong has dangerous teachings and was banned to protect the people. No, it’s not. Since when has the CCP focused on protecting Chinese people?

Not because Falun Gong was political. The “political” tag was applied after the practitioner sued for human rights that appear to be protected by the Chinese Constitution. For the CCP, practicing meditation safely and appealing for torture and murder is a political act.

So why was the CCP cracked down on Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa)?

Be kind and honest, as the traditional teachings of Falun Dafa can encourage people to seek good. Jiang feared that China, full of good, kind and honest people, would obey their conscience and intellect, and would not blindly obey the CCP’s divine ideology and its historical deception.

The CCP’s greatest fear is the exposure of crime to the Chinese. When hundreds of millions of people rediscover their conscience and clarity, they no longer support it.

Appearance of Falun Gong

In the 1980s, after the Cultural Revolution ended in 1976, the Chinese people sought to reconnect with their traditional culture. The government has allowed it to appear publicly because the traditional Qigong practice is “China” and is not influenced by foreign countries. Under these circumstances, Falun Gong was introduced to the public in China by Mr. Li Hongzhi in May 1992.

Falun Gong Qigong, the most popular in China Because its health benefits are quickly spread by word of mouth. By 1999, a government survey found that 70 to 100 million people were practicing it across China.

However, Falun Gong also represents the rediscovery of old traditional Chinese culture found in the wisdom of Taoist and Buddhist teachings.

Falun Gong teaches that truth, compassion, and patience (Chinese Jen Shin, Shan Zen, Ren Shinobu) are the underlying characteristics of the universe. As humans, we are not just isolated bodies. Human life is an opportunity to discover the essence of God in order to improve our moral character and to know the connection between heaven and the universe.

The broader impact of persecution

When China joined the WTO in 2001, it was seen as a great opportunity from Western nations. But big opportunities come with great risks. Dealing with CCP-controlled China is similar to dealing with an organization like the Mafia.

What values were lost and what was lost in the 23 years of persecution of Falun Gong?

Persecution has shown a clear choice to uphold justice and protect the good of all people around the world, not just Chinese practitioners. The CCP is intended for everyone to adhere to a worldview that prioritizes selfishness over ethics, morality, values, conscience, and beliefs in God.

Choosing profit over virtue is a very dangerous choice. This is the foundation of Chinese culture dating back to Mencius and Confucius, to understand the impact of choosing profits before virtues.

The Ukrainian aggression has been widely criticized, except for the authoritarian regime, which is in step with China and the Chinese Communist Party. Still, how many western democracies have openly condemned the persecution of Falun Gong and forced the removal of organs from such conscientious prisoners? Clear evidence exists through the conclusions of the Chinese court..

Why don’t they speak up? It is clearly understood what would happen after the invasion of Ukraine if the western democracies did not speak and act. However, it does not seem to be understood that the silence over the persecution of Falun Gong only made the Chinese Communist Party bold.

Currently, the technique developed over decades to “transform” or eliminate millions of Falun Gong practitioners is the forced assimilation and “transformation” of Uighurs, including the barbaric solution of forced organ removal. It was expanded to.

Selection

For the past two decades, the CCP has contributed to a political world dominated by subordinate economic and material interests in spirit, morality and ethics, rather than being properly protected as the foundation of true human life.

There was an invasion of ideas that were mostly subliminally accepted in the West, but they have their origins in communist ideas. Many may know it as cancel culture (cultural Marxism), critical race theory, awakened ideology, and so on.

Those who have experienced and directly ruled the CCP’s atrocities perceive it as a permeation of the element of communism, overturning traditional culture and creating a deviant modern culture that breaks human connections with benevolent creators. May do.

Such communist elements adopt atheism and the West by ruthlessly slaughtering people, secretly infiltrating society, and forcing people to abandon their traditional beliefs and moral values. It is called the communist ghost who tried to corrupt the Orient by doing so.

Today, the Chinese government is to silence the CCP’s human rights atrocities if other countries want to adopt the principle of “mutual respect and mutual benefit”, in other words, to benefit from trade with China. I’m expecting.

The choices faced by the people of the world are the universal spirit of compassion or the universal evil of communism.

Ultimately, the Bell of Justice charges everyone a toll.
