Tornadoes cause damage to Oklahoma.Storm shakes central United States

A violent storm brought suspected tornadoes and baseball-sized hail to parts of Oklahoma, but no casualties were reported on Monday. The bad weather that hit Oklahoma late Sunday also brought heavy rains, lightning and winds to parts of Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Texas, with more stormy weather expected later this week in parts of the central United States. The Southern Plains in October was said by Chuck Hodges, a senior meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Tulsa.
