Aerial footage shows a volcanic eruption on La Palma, Spain

A volcano erupted on La Palma, one of Spain’s Canary Islands, after seismologists recorded the strongest series of tremors at magnitude 4.2 early on Sunday. The eruption was reported around 3:30 pm local time. Aerial footage taken by the Spanish Ministry of Ecology shows smoke and lava erupting from the location of the eruption.
