Asian TikTok users claim that the restaurant has seated her and her friends in the “POC section”


An Asian woman took her and her friends to TikTok after placing her and her friends in what the restaurant calls the “POC (People of Color) section”.

TikTok user Maggie (@sadgirlmaggie) Now-Viral Video Post On February 14, she and her Indian and Argentine friends showed how they sat near the entrance to the restaurant’s toilet.

“”Sometimes restaurants seat ppl if you don’t know [sic] The color behind near the toilet is less likely to cause problems and the restaurant looks better from the outside, “said a TikTok user with more than 17,000 followers in her video caption. I am writing. “I don’t tolerate this sh * t, and they need to be called.”

In a follow-up comment, Maggie just shared his experience and stated, “I’m not saying this will happen in every restaurant.” She also said she and her friends were asked to step into an empty restaurant and sit back.

“”The restaurant was full while we were eating and it was pretty obvious … because it’s not just our table, “she writes. “This is also subjective.”

Some users even felt that the post was relevant and even shared their experience with other restaurants.

Other users who have worked in the food and beverage service industry also raised their voices. A user who previously said he worked as a hostess in New York City agreed that this would happen in certain places.

“”This happens especially in “luxury spots in New York” and “certain trendy lounges,” and even tells the hostess to sit behind unattractive people, “she writes.

“I work in a restaurant, and they do this,” another user said. “It makes me very angry, I tell them to stop. I want someone to take a picture and sue.”

Maggie’s TikTok has been viewed over 522,000 times and rated over 47,000 times at the time of this writing.
