More than 20 people were taken to a local hospital on Sunday morning after a boat capsized near Cabrillo National Monument in San Diego, California. San Diego Fire Department.

The department, along with the US Coast Guard, city guards and other agencies, responded to the scene and pulled a group of people on the boat out of the water.

Department spokesman Told to CNN Three of the people sent to the hospital are in a “slightly urgent state.”

The fire department said one was “in CPR at the time of rescue” and two died on the scene.

“SDFD Lifeguards, USCG Boats and Aircraft, and Customs and Border Protection’s air support are still under search,” he said.
