Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced that Australia will receive an additional 4 million Pfizer vaccines in a deal with the United Kingdom.

Morrison told reporters in Canberra on Friday.

“From Downing Street to Down Under, Pfizer doses have doubled in Australia this month,” he continued.

This is only a few days after the Prime Minister signed a similar contract with Singapore for 500,000 Pfizer doses, adding to the 1 million doses from Poland.

“I said I wouldn’t leave any stones, and I can say I’ve recently flipped some stones so that the vaccination program can proceed as quickly as possible. “Morison said.

Dose from the UK is distributed nationwide on a per capita basis, and Morrison has declared that additional doses will provide significant opportunities for Australia to reopen under national plans.

Morrison also said he was grateful that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson had shown a “great friendship” with Australia and had discussed the plan “for a while”.

I will come more.
