Two of the 25 students on the bus were taken to Lubbock Hospital in crisis, and 11 students were treated for minor injuries at Big Spring Hospital, Baker said.
Baker said there was no up-to-date information on Saturday’s student injuries and calls to schools near the New Mexico border were not immediately returned.
According to Baker, Pickup went west in the eastern lane of the Interstate and burned after colliding with an eastern bus and a second Andrews bus.
No injuries have been reported on the second bus.
According to Baker, three buses were carrying students from Andrews High School to a high school soccer playoff game between Andrews and Springtown in Sweetwater. The game has been postponed.
