Biden appears to say ‘no one fucks Biden’ during tour of Hurricane Ian’s devastation

Biden meets with DeSantis in Florida to investigate Hurricane Ian damage

President Joe Biden visits hurricane-ravaged Florida and pledges federal, state and local governments to work together to help rebuild homes, businesses and lives. Hurricane Ian has confirmed the deaths of at least 84 of his people, including his 75 in Florida, while hundreds of thousands are waiting for power to be restored. Biden was scheduled to meet with residents and small business owners in Fort Myers, Fla., on Wednesday to thank government officials for providing emergency assistance and clearing debris. With the midterm elections just a month away from him, the crisis had the potential to rally political rivals for a common cause, at least for a while. Ian’s 150 mph winds and last week’s violent storm surges left Florida without power for her 2.6 million people. Many people in Florida have no access to food or water. Joining Biden in Florida are his most prominent Republican critics, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Senator Rick Scott, according to a White House and Scott spokesperson. Spokesperson Jean-Pierre suggested on Tuesday that it would be inappropriate to focus on political differences.
