Joe Biden: I also want to talk about Mr. Putin’s remarks this morning. As you know, America and its allies are not frightened by President Putin and his reckless words and threats. He doesn’t frighten or threaten us.
Putin’s behavior is a sign that he is suffering. The fake referendum he ran and this routine he did, don’t worry, it’s not there if you’re looking for it. It shows that you are working together. America will never admit this and, frankly, the world will never admit it. He takes his neighbor’s territory and cannot escape it. It’s as easy as that.
And they’re going to stay on course. We will continue to provide military equipment so that Ukraine can defend itself, its territories and freedoms. This includes the $13 billion in additional resources that we will give to the United States. Once again, America, along with our NATO allies, is fully prepared to defend every inch and every inch of NATO territory. So, Mr. Putin, do not misunderstand what I am saying. every inch.
