BMW will create up to 6,000 new jobs next year: CEO

Berlin-Germany’s BMW plans to create up to 6,000 new jobs next year to prepare for rising demand for electric vehicles, the automaker’s chief executive officer told M√ľnchener Mercour every day.

BMW is on a very good path to change and its factory is ready for e-mobility. Oliver Zipse reportedly said in an interview released Wednesday. “That’s why we’re increasing our workforce by up to 5 percent next year.”
