BRATISLAVA, Slovakia—Slovak police said Thursday they had found the bodies of a suspect who shot two people in the capital the day before.
Two men were killed and a woman injured near or in a bar in downtown Bratislava Wednesday night.
Bratislava’s Comenius University said one of the two victims was a student.
Police said they were investigating, but gave no details about the motive for the shooting. They also said authorities had found the suspect’s body, but did not immediately provide further details.
President Zuzana Captova and Prime Minister Eduardo Heger condemned the killing.
“I meant that when I said Slovakia was a free and democratic country,” Heger said Thursday. rice field.

Caputova and Heger also extended their condolences to the families of the victims.
