Quetta, Pakistan-Government officials said a passenger bus plunged into a canyon in southwestern Pakistan, killing 20 people on Sunday.
The car accident also injured another 13 people on a bus traveling from Rawalpindi’s garrison to Quetta, the capital of southwestern Balochistan, said Ijaz Jaffar, Deputy Secretary of the Sherani District.
The valley is about 350 kilometers north of Quetta.
Poor road infrastructure and reckless driving often cause fatal road accidents in Pakistan.
The state has several Chinese projects under an investment plan in which Beijing seeks to link road and maritime trade with the world.
