California burger joint opens fourth location in North Carolina shop, this time in Monroe as the chain expands in the Charlotte area.
The Habit Burger Grillis known for its cooked-to-order charcoal grilled burgers and on March 1st 2121 W. Roosevelt Blvd.Near the Monroe Crossing Road, the company told the Charlotte Observer EXCLUSIVELY on Tuesday.
The Monroe store is part of The Habit Burger’s expansion plans to open 15 locations in the Charlotte area.Another store is planned in Mooresville 379 W. Plaza Drive On the old Popeye grounds off Interstate 77. According to company officials, the company has no plans to open yet.
What to Expect at The Habit Burger
Habit Burger’s menu includes flame-grilled burgers, sandwiches such as marinated chicken, sushi-grade ahi tuna and tenderloin steak, sides such as green bean tempura and salads, and milkshakes.
Monroe Restaurants offers eat-in, take-out, drive-thru, curbside pickup and delivery available on The Habit mobile app and online. order.habitburger.com.
Indoor self-service kiosks are also available. Delivery is through third-party vendors such as Grubhub, DoorDash, Postmates and Uber Eats.
As previously reported by The Observer, both Charlotte-area stores will be separate 2,500- to 3,000-square-foot buildings. Both stores have drive-thru. Before the COVID pandemic hit, The Burger Habit chain was 65% eat-in.
Hours of operation are 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM daily.

The Habit Burger Many pre-opening events will be held.
▪ On Saturdays at 11:30 am and 5:00 pm, the first 200 customers will receive free fried rice, French fries, and a drink.
▪ Monday and Tuesday: At 11:30am and 5:00pm, the first 200 guests will receive a complimentary charcoal grilled meal from a pre-set menu.

In 2019, Habit Burger opened two local locations. 7740 Charlotte Hwy Located at 209 Kings Drive, Charlotte, Indian Land, South Carolina. The South Carolina store is still open, but the Charlotte store closed less than a year ago.
Habit Burger’s other North Carolina locations are located in Clemmons, Burlington, and Fayetteville. We plan to open another store in Greensboro this year.
