Carbon monoxide poisoning caused the deaths of three Americans at a resort in the Bahamas a few weeks ago, officials said Monday.
Toxicology and autopsy reports of Americans (Michael, Robbie Phillips and Vincent Chiarella) were released on Monday. At the Sandals Hotel, carbon monoxide, a tasteless and odorless gas, was reported as the cause of death, officials said. Nassau GuardianWithout providing any further information.
The three died in a mysterious situation on May 6 while staying in separate rooms at Sandals Emerald Bay Resort. Chiarella’s wife, Donnis, was hospitalized in crisis, but she later recovered, but they were allegedly unresponsive.
