Celebrate National Park Week in one of Southern California’s five parks

Interesting fact: Did you know that California has the most national parks? Yeah, we got nine. So we are the best.

Another interesting fact: One of California’s national parks is a group of islands that can be reached within hours or so from Los Angeles.

The National Park Service is lined with weekly thematic days starting Saturday’s International Park Prescription Day, encouraging everyone to enjoy the great outdoor health benefits. As a bonus, everyone can participate in #ParkRXDay for free. Other themed days include Military Monday, Friendship Friday, and National Junior Ranger Day Saturday.
