Cemex says the U.S. Department of Justice has completed an antitrust investigation

Monterrey, Mexico — Cemex, Mexico, one of the world’s largest cement companies, said on Friday that the US Department of Justice (DOJ) has completed an investigation into a possible antitrust violation.

Cemex also reported that a tax audit of its business from 2010 to 2014 resulted in a fine of approximately € 68 million ($ 77 million) by the Spanish authorities. Cemex said it would impose a fine.
