The wireless keyboard has suddenly become an item in the purchase list, because the sudden work at home makes many people re-recognize their productivity tools, and the keyboard that will be used for a long time is even more worth investing in. Peripheral manufacturer Logitech released a new Pop series products in Hong Kong today. The star product is the retro typewriter wireless keyboard Pop Keys with a pink color, and also specially added special emoji shortcut keys for Gen Z language. Here it is! Xiao Bian first experienced it, let’s share with you the hands-on experience.
Pop Keys is a 75% size wireless keyboard, suitable for Windows, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, Android systems, QWERTY interface, fn key and arrow keys are available, but there will be editing layout buttons on the traditional keyboard: Home, End, Page Up, and Page Down have disappeared. Instead, they have replaced them with emoji shortcuts in the new generation of languages. Logitech presets the four buttons on the far right side with the ???? keycap, allowing Mac and Windows users to enter these vivid emojis with one click, and there will be ?❤️?? in the box. A spare keycap, even the eight keys from F4 to F12 are replaced with emoji! However, this emoji input needs to be set through Logitech Option, so mobile phones and tablets cannot be enjoyed.
The overall design of Pop Keys is to imitate the retro style typewriter, so there will be cute round keycaps, but there are colorful colors, including pink purple, pink, and there are more stylish black and yellow colors, no matter what you go. People of style will always find the one that suits you. Although it is imitating the shape of a typewriter, Pop Keys uses a tea shaft, a key shaft that has a hand-feel and is relatively quiet, so there will be no crisp (noisy) knocking sound.
This time Logitech supports dual-mode connections for Pop Keys, including Bluetooth and the new Logo Bolt. The latter will be a USB transceiver and the connection stability will be better. It depends on your actual situation. Pop Key operates on two AAA batteries and claims to have a lifespan of up to 3 years. If you have a chance, please verify it yourself.
At the same time, Logitech also launched the Pop Mouse mouse, the color matching is naturally matched with Pop Keys. Functionally, it will support Logitech Flow, and there will also be Smartwheel’s high-precision/fast scroll wheel switching, which can be regarded as a poor man’s MagSpeed electromagnetic scroll wheel.
Both products have been confirmed to be launched in Hong Kong. Pop Keys is priced at HK$699 and Pop Mouse is priced at HK$229. The date is yet to be announced.
