A Cobb County massage parlor employee was taken away in handcuffs for providing too risqué service for even television to speak of, police said.
The massage parlor is located in a family shopping center with a children’s salon next door and a Chuck E. Cheese across the street.
Jasmine Massage advertises a range of services, but recently an employee was arrested for offering the agency more than the business advertises when an undercover cop walked through the door.
She is currently facing prostitution-related charges.
“It shouldn’t be in the family community. Not at all. It should definitely be shut down,” said concerned parent Yvette Murphy.
“It was too close to Chuck E. Cheese and I was scared to death. They need to shut it down,” said parent Jeremy Barlow.
Channel 2 Cobb County Commissioner Michele Newell I stopped by Jasmine Massage to get some answers.
Trend story:
The charged employee greeted Newell as he walked in. But when Newell told her the story, she didn’t want to comment.
Newell asked to speak to a manager. Another employee came out and told her she didn’t have a manager.
“If you are charged, under no circumstances should you return to the premises or property,” Murphy said.
Newell spoke with employees of other companies in family-friendly shopping centers. They told her that police arrested Jasmine Massage a week ago and closed it for the day.
Some want to see it shut down completely.
“We just need it from the neighborhood for Cobb County,” Barlow said.
When Newell spoke to one of the parlor employees, she was told that the woman who was billed was no longer an employee and had returned to the store to pick up something.
A children’s salon next door to the parlor sent Newell the following statement:
“We are deeply concerned and saddened by the recent news regarding our neighboring businesses. Our top priority in choosing a location for our salon is the safety and appropriate environment for our young clients. To resolve, we are in close contact with our legal team and property managers. Our commitment is to ensure that our luxury kids salon is a safe and welcoming environment for all. We appreciate your support as we navigate through this difficult situation. ”
