Cops fight violent crime as rank shrinks


Violent crime is on the rise and police force numbers are down in cities across the United States. From Philadelphia to Portland to Los Angeles, police officers, exhausted by the pandemic and disillusioned with calls to leave the police force following the police killing of George Floyd, are resigning or retiring early, while at the same time reducing homicide rates and Shootings are on the rise.
