Dell has added 4K OLED panel options to the new generation of XPS 13 notebooks, but the additional purchase price is as high as $300 compared to the basic FHD panel. The extra expense in exchange for 3,456 x 2,160 (16:10 UHD, so under the same number of vertical pixels, the number of horizontal pixels will be less) resolution, 100,000:1 contrast, 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut And Dell’s anti-reflective coating, compared with the original 4K UHD LCD panel, is superior in contrast and color gamut, only 400 nits of brightness is slightly worse than LCD’s 500 nits. This is certainly not the first time Dell has equipped an XPS notebook with an OLED panel, but the 16:10 ratio may be more suitable for work, and it is also a highlight of it.

In addition to XPS, Dell has also brought a new generation of Inspiron series notebooks. The Inspiron 16 Plus is equipped with a 16:10 3K panel, which is 11% larger than the 16:9 15.6-inch panel of the Inspiron 15 last year. Inspiron 16 is also equipped with 11th-generation Intel H-series processors, and NVIDIA GTX or RTX graphics cards are also optional.

Other Inspiron members except Inspiron 13 which is limited by Intel, the rest can choose Intel Core i 11th generation processors or AMD Ryzen 5000 U series processors. Among them, the Inspiron 14 2-in-1 notebook has a flip-up design, while the Inspiron 13 , 14 and 15 are traditional folio designs. The three split notebooks are equipped with lid-open sensors to speed up the wake-up and unlocking of the notebooks, and have the Express Charge fast charging function that can charge to 80% within 60 minutes.

Throughout the series, Inspiron no longer adds numbers in the naming, reducing consumer confusion, and will use recycled paper to make packaging materials. Inspiron 13 is already on sale at US$599. Inspiron 14, 14 2-in-1 and 15 are all on sale in early May, with prices starting at US$550, US$729 and US$550 respectively.
