In the latest episode of Dr. Pimple Popper, celebrity dermatologist Dr. Sandra Lee treated Brittany, a woman with a head-to-toe cyst.

Brittany, who lives in Chipley, Florida at the age of 31, Neurofibromatosis type 1A genetic condition that causes painful tumors to grow in the skin, spinal nerves, and other areas of the body.

According to Brittany, she often feels stabbed with a hot ice pick because of her condition.

The cysts make it difficult for Brittany to find a job, spend time with her two sons in public, and overcome depression, she said in an episode.

She was called a “monster” and witnessed other parents and their children laughing at her.

“I try not to go to too many school events and things for them because it hurt them and hurt their hearts,” Brittany said of her son.

Brittany’s condition does not heal completely, so she asked Lee to focus on her most prominent and painful growth.

“I want her to be more confident that this isn’t the deciding factor in her life and she has some control over it,” said Dr. Pimple Popper.

Dr. Pimple Popper focused on cysts on her face and shoulders

First, Lee injected paralytic fluid into a cyst in the shoulder, near the temple in Brittany, nose and chin.

Brittany said these cysts caused her the most pain and anxiety.

Dr. Pimple Popper started with a cyst near the hairline in Brittany and grabbed it with tweezers while cutting its roots with his other hand.

As Lee removed the growth, she noticed a cave hole left in Brittany’s hairline. According to Lee, cysts associated with neurofibromatosis often stay deep in the skin.

After removing Brittany’s chin cyst in the same process, Dr. Pimple Popper moved to what Brittany named the 21-year-old shoulder cyst called “Big Mama.”

Lee used a surgical blade to slice the base of the cyst and said it was “well-behaved” for a seamless removal process. She then sewed the holes left by Big Mama and moved to Brittany’s nasal cyst.

Dr. Pimple Popper melted a small cyst with a heated pen tool

These cysts were much smaller, so Lee decided to use another method in the form of a cautery pen.

She said she was “sculpting” and “melting” the cyst from Brittany’s face with a heated tool while the suction tool was removing the bit.

According to Brittany, the odor was the worst part of the cauterization procedure.

When Dr. Pimple Popper handed a mirror to Brittany, she instantly became emotional.

“I feel like my life was about this moment,” she told Dr. Pimple Popper.

After a happy hug, a celebrity dermatologist invited Brittany to another treatment session.

“I’ve been waiting so long for the doctor to actually want to help me, and she showed me a whole different light,” Brittany said.
