Battery giants face skill gaps that can clog electric highways
South Korea’s battery giant, which powers many of the world’s electric vehicles, faces a lack of skills that could drag global competition for zero-emission transportation. Three major companies in the country, which account for one-third of the global electric vehicle (EV) battery market, have told Reuters that they are addressing a shortage of research and engineering professionals in demand for technology balloons.
