Atlanta (AP) — Five teenagers were shot in a battle outside the canteen in downtown Atlanta, and two were shot into a car to go to the hospital, police said.
Two women and three men between the ages of 15 and 19 were injured late Saturday outside the Waffle House near the 100th Anniversary Olympic Park, Deputy Chief Timothy Peak told reporters. Police did not know what started the fight.
According to police, two of the men carjacked the car from a valet parking clerk and the other three were at the scene where the police arrived.
According to police, all five were reported in a stable condition.
According to a news release, the two who drove to the hospital were charged with hijacking.
