If you think that the “one-handed” Zenfone 8 is too small, ASUS still brings the Zenfone 8 Flip that flips the lens in this generation as the “big screen” choice. The three-lens system, like the previous generation, can be flipped from backward to forward, allowing the three-lens camera system to be used for main shooting, Selfie, and any angle in between. Zenfone 8 is equipped with the same three lenses as the previous generation, which are a combination of 64MP wide-angle, 12MP ultra-wide-angle and 3x optics, including digital zoom, which can cover 0.6x to 12x focal lengths without interruption. However, ASUS has made a lot of improvements in the flipping motor and control mechanism. Not only the smallest step unit is only 0.5 degrees, but the number of flips has increased from 200,000 times in the previous generation to 300,000 times. Zenfone 8 Flip’s special new feature is a mode called “close-up recording”. In addition, most of the camera functions have been seen before, including the ability to quickly turn to a specific angle, automatic object tracking, and automatic panorama. On the front Zenfone 8 flip is equipped with a 6.67-inch, 1,080 x 2,400 (20:9) Samsung AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz. This panel has a maximum brightness of 1,000 nits, and has 110% DCI-P3 color gamut expressiveness, and a touch sampling rate of 200Hz. There is also a fingerprint reader underneath.

Its processor is the same Snapdragon 888 flagship processor as Zenfone 8, with a 5,000mAh large-capacity battery, and in addition to the dual card slots, it can also expand the MicroSD card.
