ENGLEWOOD, Colorado (AP) — Broncos coach Nathaniel Hackett has declared the Denvers to be without four players. match in las vegas on Sunday due to a hamstring injury.
Right guard Quinn Mynells, who pulled a hamstring on the opener and aggravated it during practice this week, was ruled out along with receiver Tyree Cleveland, linebacker Jonathan Cooper and cornerback Darius Phillips.
Also ruled out is right tackle Billy Turner. Billy Turner is still not wearing a suit after having knee surgery in the offseason and missing most of training camp.
Turner is behind schedule in rehab. Had the Broncos known he would miss the first month of the season, they would have placed him on the short-term injured list and released him from a roster spot in September.
The Broncos (2-1) hope to get some good news Friday when defensive tackle DJ Jones returns to the field and clear concussion protocol for Sunday’s game (0-3) in Las Vegas. The Raiders are the 2½ point favorites, according to. FanDuel Sportsbookdespite their status as the league’s only unwinnable team.
Jones is listed as having problems with the game, as is left guard Dalton Lisner (ankle), who missed Wednesday’s practice, was restricted on Thursday, and was fully present on Friday.
Hackett hopes rookie tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring) and cornerback Michael Ojemudia (dislocated elbow) will return to practice next week ahead of the Broncos’ Thursday night game against Indianapolis. Said there was
