Fourth tropical storm of the season hits and will be Daniel this weekend


According to Channel 9 Certified Chief Meteorologist Tom Terry, a fourth tropical system of the season is forming in Southwestern Bay, and it could be Daniel this weekend.

The storm is being called Potential Tropical Cyclone 4 until it is better organized, Terry said.

A tropical storm warning is in place for the north coast of Mexico and deep south of Texas, and is expected to make landfall on Saturday or Sunday.
