The mayor of a small Georgia city died Saturday morning in a motorcycle accident, officials said.
Perry Bell, mayor of White, Georgia, died while attending an event at the Lazy River Motocross outside of Dalton, according to Interim Mayor Gary Crisp.
Officials say Bell’s bike collided with another during a stunt and died from his injuries.

Bell served as mayor for just over two months. He was sworn in in June.
Government officials said they did not know what would happen next. The city is likely to hold a special election to replace him.
