What does the euro crash mean for American tourists?

A small number of American consumers, especially tourists visiting Europe, are in a position to benefit from the recent appreciation of the US dollar against the euro, but the broader impact on the US economy may not be so positive. The euro, many of the European Union’s single currencies, has fallen over the past year and a half. The depreciation of the euro is due to recent global economic challenges: war in Ukraine, supply chain shocks, inflation and pandemic-inspired stagnation.
