Trump’s New York golf course to host Saudi Arabia-backed women’s event
A New York City-owned golf course managed by former President Donald Trump’s business is set to host a Saudi-backed women’s tournament in October, city officials said Friday. Plans to host Aramco’s team his series at Trump Golf’s Links at Ferry Point in the Bronx were dismissed by a judge in April after New York City’s attempt to cancel Trump’s contract to run the course. It was served after being served. Former Mayor Bill de Blasio said he would cancel Trump’s contract to run a golf course and several Central Park concessions shortly after Trump supporters stormed the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.
