Polar bears hijacked an abandoned island and moved to a vacant house
Russian underwater wildlife photographer Dmitry Kokh shared a once-in-a-lifetime photo of a polar bear that hijacked the island. The island in question is Kolyuchin Island in the Chukchi Sea. This remote part of Russia’s Arctic was once home to meteorological stations, but humans have long abandoned it.
