Illegal fireworks ignite a bridge over Lake Texas, officials say


Officials say a large-scale fire broke out on July 4, when fireworks were illegally set off on a bridge over Lake Texas.

Residents were asked to avoid the bridge as the crew fought the fire.

Killeen city officials said more than 12 grass fires and fences were ignited by illegal fireworks in the city.
