Mumbai — Tuesday’s Indian court is its war partner, Amazon.com Inc. We have dismissed Future Retail’s claim to declare the arbitration proceedings with.
The ruling continues arbitration between the two, given that Future has suspended the 2019 transaction used by the Indian antitrust agency to claim its rights to the Judges in New Delhi. It was done after claiming that there was no legal basis to do so.
Judge Amit Bansal of the Delhi High Court said on Tuesday that the filings were rejected without revealing details.
Written orders will be released later on Tuesday.
Amazon and Future have been involved in a court battle for several months. U.S. companies take advantage of $ 200 million in Future Unit investment terms in 2019 to claim certain contract breaches and Indian retailers attempt to sell retail assets to rival Reliance Industries I stopped it.
